What the Bible Says About Happiness

Happiness is something many people search for, often in things, people, or circumstances. But true and lasting happiness does not come from the world. It comes from God. The Bible shows us that happiness is rooted in our relationship with God.

Psalm 144:15 says:

Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the Lord.

True happiness comes from knowing and walking with God.

Proverbs 16:20 says:

He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
Trusting God brings a deep sense of peace and happiness that goes beyond circumstances.

John 15:11 says:

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Happiness that is connected to God leads to a fullness of joy that lasts.

How to Maintain Happiness Spiritually

*Stay connected to God through prayer

*Be thankful in all situations

*Focus on what God has done, not what is lacking

*Trust His plan, even when things are uncertain

Conclusion

Happiness that comes from the world may fade, but happiness rooted in God remains. When we keep our focus on Him, we can experience true joy and peace in every season of life.
